In the Militia HQ, special equipment and tools are sold for militia members to
use. Payment is not in gold, but rather in badges and medals, which you gain
by defeating the invading Lucavi.
The equipment sold in the Militia HQ is exceptionally powerful when fighting
the Lucavi. It can be used during normal play outside of the militia, but it
will lose its special bonuses and generally become weaker than normal
equipment. Militia equipment also works at full power in the training room, to
let you test its power.
The tool shop sells items that can be used to help the Defenders of Elsendor
more quickly plan and carry out strategies. Some of these items are used for
detecting enemy presence, while others are used for quick movement. These
items will only function against Lucavi and will not work outside of a raid.
Be sure to type "list reqs" in the shop to make sure you have high enough stats
and rank to use an item.
Please note that militia equipment is untradable, and cannot be sold once
bought.
Below is a list of special effects gained from equipment. Note that almost
none of these special effects will function in a non-raid setting.

Lucavi who foolishly enter the room. Type "activate mine" to plant it on the
ground. Disappears after one use. Cannot be retrieved once activated.
Platoon Radar
- Small and compact, this radar can scan entire platoons for renegade
monsters and display their location without error. Disappears after a few
uses.
Crystal Locator
- A small crystal capable of locating one black materia instantly.
Disappears after one successful use.
Crystal Ball
- This item allows one to "peer renegade" from anywhere in the realms,
giving a chance to detect Lucavi monsters in your current realm. Without this
item, "peer renegade" will only work in the viewing room in the Militia HQ. It
may rarely break if used too many times.
Platoon Scrolls
- The platoon scrolls allow one to instantly teleport to a platoon's choke
point, similar to a recall scroll. Platoon scrolls have infinite uses and will
never disintigrate. They are only usable during raids.
Dog Tags
- Dog Tags are equipment that militia members can wear. They provide no
benefit in battle, but other players will be able to see your militia rank any
time you are in the same room as them. They are considered a "personal" item,
which means that they can be equipped alongside everything else you own and do
not take up an accessory slot.
